Heather Blake, Chief Executive

Heather Blake, a woman with shoulder length brown hair, wearing a red blouse, standing in front of a bookcase, filled with books and ceramics.

“I am enormously proud to be Chief Executive of Changing Faces. It is a privilege to lead the charity and help ensure that we reach more people with visible differences than ever before.

“I’m passionate that Changing Faces listens carefully to those who we support, and that the voices and experiences of our community are at the heart of everything the charity does.

“I was previously Director of Support and Influencing at Prostate Cancer UK, responsible for leading their service delivery and work to ensure that men with prostate cancer have access to the best treatments and care. Often the role involved getting people talking about and tackling topics or issues which could be seen as difficult or embarrassing.

“My other experience includes senior operational and strategic management roles in the NHS, including responsibility for community health services in South London. I am currently a Trustee and Chair of the Patient Services Committee at Royal Trinity Hospice, Clapham.”

Frances Howard, Director of Finance and Resources

Frances Howard, Interim Director of Finance and Resources

“It is a huge privilege to work at Changing Faces, an organisation which has provided life-changing support and understanding for so many people with a visible difference. My priority is to ensure that colleagues have the financial information and guidance needed to provide the best possible experience to those who we support.

I come into this role with experience from a variety of finance positions within both the not-for-profit sector and financial services, including PwC, and National Citizens Advice.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with such passionate and talented colleagues as we look to build on the legacy of excellent work increasing acceptance, understanding and access to support.”
