We explain what skin camouflage is and what happens at an appointment or session.
Skin camouflage is the use of specialist, highly pigmented creams and powders that can be used to reduce the appearance of a mark, scar or skin condition. Our specialist Skin Camouflage Service offers appointments with trained skin camouflage practitioners at clinics across England and Scotland.
As well as face-to-appointments, we now offer sessions online and over the phone. However, we are only able to offer colour matching at the face-to-face appointments. To help you choose the right option for you, see the guide to our Skin Camouflage Service.
We have recently reopened our Skin Camouflage Service following an extended closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Read about the changes we’ve made to the service.
We have significant waiting lists in some parts of England and are currently prioritising both face-to-face and online/phone appointments for those already on our waiting list. Waiting times are much shorter in Scotland. Once you have registered your interest, we will be in touch to book your appointment when a space becomes available.
When registering your interest in an appointment, if you opt-in to emails from Changing Faces we will let you know the availability in your area and share new skin camouflage resources that might support you whilst you wait for an appointment.
We’ve also developed a series of video tutorials to help you to apply skin camouflage cream or makeup at home and have a dedicated page about other options for skin camouflage.
