Skin camouflage is the use of specialist, highly pigmented creams and powders that can be used to reduce the appearance of a scar, mark or skin condition.

Our specialist Skin Camouflage Service offers free appointments with trained skin camouflage practitioners at our clinic in Wales, for Welsh residents only.

In-person skin camouflage appointments with Changing Faces are not available in England, Scotland or Northern Ireland. However, we have plenty of self-help information on products and other skin camouflage practitioners, and are happy to help with queries via our support line. We also run webinars where you can learn more about skin camouflage and ask questions; please sign up to our e-newsletter to hear about these and be able to sign up for them.

We offer face-to-appointments at our clinic in Bridgend and you can request a free appointment using the form below. You can also get in touch with the team by emailing [email protected] or calling 0300 012 0276.

You will need:

  • Your NHS number. You can find this on any written correspondence from your GP surgery, or you can contact them to obtain it. See the NHS website for more information on how to find your NHS number.
  • Your GP details. This information will help us to check if skin camouflage products are available on prescription in your area. Our skin camouflage appointments are partially funded by the NHS, which needs confirmation that you have attended.

What happens afterwards?

Once you have completed the request form below, we will email you to confirm your request has been received. We will then be in touch to book your appointment as soon as space becomes available.  Waiting times fluctuate but we aim to offer you an appointment within six to eight weeks of receiving your completed form.
