Skin camouflage products are specialist creams and powders that can reduce the size or visibility of marks and scars by colour-matching to your patient’s skin tone. We provide this service free to patients in Wales.

About our Skin Camouflage Service
Our specialist Skin Camouflage Service supports people in Wales with a scar, mark or non-infectious skin condition who are seeking help to minimise the appearance of their visible difference. In-person skin camouflage appointments with Changing Faces are not available in England, Scotland or Northern Ireland, however we do support people to help them learn about skin camouflage, source products and practitioners through our online self-help resources, topic-based webinars and our support line.
In Wales, our free appointments, delivered by trained practitioners, enable your patients to try skin camouflage, which can be an effective tool to manage their visible difference.

Waiting times
Waiting times fluctuation, but on average are six to eight weeks. Sometimes, when an appointment has been cancelled or moved, we may be able to offer your patient an appointment at short notice.
