Changing Faces does not automatically capture or store personal data from visitors to the website except to log the user's IP address and session information such as the duration of the visit to the site and the nature of the browser used. This information is used only for administration of the site and in the compilation of statistics used by Changing Faces to assess the use of the site.
Database and mailing list
Changing Faces maintains a database of confidential client information in order to provide high quality services to individuals who seek to use our services, and is registered as a Data Controller under the Data Protection Act 1988. Details of donors and others who have demonstrated an interest in our work and provided contact details are also retained on the database so Changing Faces can keep them informed of progress, primarily through our bi-annual newsletter, Changing Faces News. No data is passed to third parties.
If you have received information from us because you are on the database and your personal information changes or you no longer wish to be contacted by Changing Faces, we will correct, update or remove information as speedily as possible on request. You can request changes by emailing info@changingfaces.org.uk or calling 0845 4500 275.
We capture personal data provided by users 'lending their face' on the News and Campaigns section of this website. Information from users will be added to our database if you have chosen to be kept informed of progress of the Face Equality campaign and of the work of Changing Faces. No data is passed to third parties.
