Leeds 10K – 9 July 2017


A firm fixture in the sporting calendar with a mercifully flat route, this is a great race whether you’re just starting out or looking for a new personal best for a 10k!

As places are purchased by the charity, we ask that each runner raises a minimum of £200 in sponsorship (we’ll support you to do this!) and pays a £30 administration fee. This ensures that more of the money you raise goes towards supporting those with visible differences and disfigurements in Yorkshire & The Humber.

The Great British 10K – 9th July 

2017 start

London’s one to run – The 17th British 10k London Run 

Start: Sunday 9th July 2017 on Piccadilly – The British 10k London Run is staged on the world’s greatest road race route through the heart of central London, passing many of the capitals truly world class historic landmarks.

You can join the Changing Faces team on 9th July 2017 in London.

Raise £250 and change lives with every penny.

You get training, fundraising and a free Changing Faces t-shirt.

Scottish Half Marathon and 10K – 24 September

Go the distance at the Scottish Half Marathon and 10K and raise funds to support Changing Faces. Both events take place on Sunday 24 September. The 10K starts at Musselburgh Racecourse, EH21 7RG. The Half Marathon starts at Meadowmill Sports Centre, Tranent, EH33 1LZ. Sign up here.

Great Scottish Run, Glasgow – 1 October

On Sunday 2 October six fundraisers took part in the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow. Thank you to Andrew, Debbie and Nikki who all ran 10K and raised £700 between them. Our Scotland and Yorkshire and the Humber managers, Cat and Rob and our Scotland Public Fundraising Officer Katie, took part in the half marathon and managed to raise £1,828.10!

Tough Mudder – 17 and 18 June

This is a great event to with your friends or as a team bonding day with your colleagues. Take part in Tough Mudder (12 miles) or Tough Mudder Half (5 miles) at Drumlanrig Castle on the 17th or 18th of June 2017. Sign up here.


Bungee Jump for Changing Faces! – July and October

Bungee from a crane at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow and raise funds for Changing Faces. All you have to do is raise £75 to help support people with a visible difference in Scotland. Sign up here. Upcoming dates below:

For Families

The Kelpies Supernova Run, Falkirk – 10-12 November

“This fantastic 5K route is a great opportunity to explore the home of two 30-metre high horses! The Kelpies are mythical creatures who love to play at dusk, each one weighs over 300 tonnes. Come and immerse yourself in a light journey with them” – Your whole family can take part in this event and support Changing Faces together. You can run on Friday 10, Saturday 11 or Sunday 12 November. Sign up here.
