Finding help when we're closed

You can contact us for Support, Information & Advice on 0300 012 0275 between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. We are closed on Bank Holidays, Public Holidays, and between Christmas and New Year.

Forthcoming planned closures:

  • Monday 29 May 2017 (Spring Bank Holiday)

Where to get support when we’re closed

In an emergency, and/or if you feel like harming yourself or someone else, dial 999 for an ambulance or go to your nearest accident and emergency department. You can find details of your nearest department in England and Wales on the NHS website, or in Scotland on the NHS24 website.

In less urgent cases, you should contact your GP or visit the NHS Choices website (for England and Wales) or NHS24 website (for Scotland).

Samaritans offer confidential, emotional support 24 hours a day. You can call free from any phone on 116 123, email jo@samaritans.org, or visit your local branch.

Saneline offer specialist mental health emotional support from 6pm-11pm every day. Call 0300 304 7000. 

Childline are available 24 hours a day and offer confidential support to children. Call free on 0800 1111, or chat to them online or by email.
