Senior Trusts Manager on a part-time basis for either 3 or 4 days per week.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and line managing a Trusts Executive, the Senior Trusts Manager is both a hands-on and strategic role, having overall responsibility for managing all aspects of the trust fundraising income stream. The Senior Trusts Manager will manage both relationships with existing funders, and new prospective funders, using effective prospect research to identify and approach trusts and foundations that show grant giving potential for the charity, and develop relationships with key contacts. Working with other teams across the organisation, the Senior Trusts Manager will compose compelling cases for support for programme plans, using tailored applications to apply for funding at a five and six figure level. Also leading on the strategic plan for trusts and foundations fundraising, the Senior Trusts Manager will work with the Head of Fundraising to produce an income and expenditure budget for the upcoming financial year.

This exciting role has ample growth opportunities and is ideal for an experienced trust fundraiser who is looking to take on more responsibility and own a trust fundraising programme. The Senior Trusts Manager will require a proven track-record of securing five and six figure grants, and excellent relationship building and communication skills.
