Years spent volunteering for Changing Faces: 25 years – since the start!
Location: I started volunteering in Blackpool, Lancashire, and then in Fife, Scotland.
Why did you start volunteering for Changing Faces? I saw the documentary that James Partridge was in on the TV and I phoned straight away, as I knew I wanted to get involved.
What is your favourite thing about volunteering for Changing Faces? Meeting new and inspiring people.
What three words would you use to describe a typical day spent volunteering for Changing Faces? Exciting, unique and challenging.
Who inspires you? My family and close friends.
If you could be a fictional hero for the day, who would it be? Anne Shirley of Anne of Green Gables.
What 5 items would you take to a desert island with you? Solar-powered phone and Kindle, chocolate and a bikini! And an Anne of Green Gables book.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A nurse.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Play a keyboard!
