Volunteering with Changing Faces is a great way to learn new skills and meet new people, and the Skin Camouflage Service relies on the commitment of its wonderful volunteers in England and Scotland.
As a qualified Skin Camouflage Practitioner, you will have the rewarding experience of helping others to make a real difference to their quality of life.
We train new Practitioners as and when the need arises in a particular area. We welcome people from all backgrounds and all areas of the community.
This role can be carried out in your own home, wherever you are in the country. Alternatively, if you are in London, you can work with us in the office. We offer full training, support and appropriate expenses for our volunteers.
This role will help you to develop your communication and administrative skills. It will also involve you working with a hard-working team, to raise awareness about the valuable services provided by Changing Faces.
One of our volunteers, Karen Ramsay, has thoroughly enjoyed her time as a volunteer. She said
I heard about Changing Faces through Volunteer Scotland’s website. I think the Skin Camouflage Service is fantastic. I liked all aspects of my administrator role, particularly when I heard about the confidence experienced by the clients after using the service. I also enjoyed meeting and developing close relationships with the Skin Camouflage Practitioners. I am very proud of my time spent volunteering with Changing Faces because the service improved lives. If you like the sound of this opportunity, don’t hesitate in signing-up immediately.
