Changing Faces has been shortlisted for a prestigious charity award in recognition of its new brand, launched in March 2016.
The Third Sector Awards recognise and celebrate charities and their partners in several categories including marketing, campaigning, fundraising and communications. Shortlisted in the ‘Brand Development’ category alongside Changing Faces are Breast Cancer Now, Province Row, House of St Barnabas, and Volunteering Matters.
Reacting to the news of the nomination, Changing Faces’ Chief Executive Dr James Partridge OBE said:
We are beyond delighted to be shortlisted for this highly coveted Award alongside four brilliant charities who all do hugely important work.
The decision to refresh our brand was not taken lightly, but the fifteen month process has reaped rewards as we see the impact it has had. As the nomination says, ‘The new brand is bright, bold, positive and empowering. It shows people living life fully lived, demonstrating the change that Changing Faces can create. The visual identity – the butterfly – is counter-cultural and deliberately at odds with a butterfly’s natural patterns; it’s distinctive and asymmetrical because the Changing Faces community is distinctive and asymmetrical.’
The Awards will be presented at a ceremony in London on Wednesday 14 September.
