We encourage you to share your feelings with someone you think will understand and take you seriously. It could be a close friend, your partner, a relative or a Changing Faces Practitioner.
It’s perfectly normal to feel different; sad or depressed; angry; embarrassed or ashamed; worried about the future; anxious about medical treatment; sad about the loss of your appearance – even your identity.
Finding the right person and time to share can be tricky. Coping with these strong emotions can take quite a long time and it might be worth seeking help, for example from a Changing Faces Practitioner.
