Changing Faces works with many health and social care professionals every year.
If you are concerned or have a question about providing psycho-social support to a patient or client, our experienced team of psychologists, counsellors and teachers can offer you advice and information.
If you have a patient and/or a family member/client who you think would benefit from our support and has given consent to be referred to Changing Faces, please write to us by letter or email including their address and contact details. We will send a letter to your patient/client introducing our services and inviting them to contact us personally. We can only offer individual appointments after we have spoken to a client on the phone.
Changing Faces is unable to offer counselling support to patients or clients with body dysmorphic disorder. To find out more about services and support available to people with body dysmorphic disorder please visit Anxiety UK, (formerly the National Phobics Society).
Patients and clients who have been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder should be referred to a trauma specialist via their GP. The UK Trauma Group provides information about PTSD and services in the UK.
If you would like to discuss referring your patient/client to Changing Faces please call 0845 4500 275 or email mail to: info@changingfaces.org.uk
