Two awards of £500 are available and the winning entry is likely to be published on the Changing Faces website. The essay prize will be judged by the Changing Faces Research Panel.
The subject of the prize is ‘Coping with Disfigurement’ and it is open, within the UK, to under-graduate and post-graduate students, of medicine, dentistry, psychology, nursing, social work, and all professions allied to medicine (including prosthetists and orthotists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, play therapist, and speech and language therapists). The essay must be no more than 2,000 words.
