My child has eczema. What can you tell me about this condition and what treatment can you recommend?

Changing Faces is not a medical charity and we are unable to give you medical advice regarding your child's medical condition or recommend particular practitioners or treatments. However, we can provide you with information on how to go about finding out more about your child's medical condition and its treatment. We can also advise you on getting the most out of your appointments with health professionals.

We would always advise, in the first instance, that you speak to your child's GP or consultant about their medical condition and / or treatment. If you gather any information from the Internet or libraries take this to the next medical appointment and discuss it with their doctor. The doctor should be able to talk to you about how this information relates to your child's condition in particular.

Condition-specific support groups may also be able to provide you with up-to-date, researched information on your child's condition and treatment. You may also be able to meet others and attend talks given by medical professionals about a particular condition and its treatment.
