Tell us about yourself
Hi, I’m Harry and I’m 11. I was burnt in a house fire when I was little. I live with my three sisters, my Mum and my Dad.
So you live life in the fast lane?
I’ve got an EVO110 pit motorbike which I ride at tracks all around the country. I’m not ready for competitions yet but I soon will be. I go with my Dad, Adam, Si, Andy, Nick and Alex.
When I leave school I’m going to be a motorbike racer.
Which football team do you support?
Everton. I was their mascot last year.
Best Christmas pressie?
A laptop. I can keep in touch with my friends on MSN.
If you could eat anything what would it be?
Rice pudding or my Nan’s pizzas.
How would your best friend describe you?
Fun, exciting and athletic whereas my sister would describe me as a pest.
What’s your worst habit?
Cracking my fingers!
What are you listening to?
N-Dubz, Eminem, Sean Kingston.
Fave subject at school?
Art.
Is there anything difficult about having burn scars?
Nothing. I first noticed when I was one. I looked in the mirror. I don’t want a prosthetic ear. When I saw one I knew I didn’t want one. I’m happy with the way I look.
Why did you get involved with the campaign?
So I can be famous.
What been the best thing about it so far?
Being filmed for the documentary. My Mum’s going to think about letting me have some friends around to watch it when it comes out.
What would you like to say to people who might assume your life must be a bit sad because of your burn scars?
I’ve got a better life than you!
How can people support the campaign?
Be more clued up on what people with faces like mine are really like rather than thinking you know what I’m like.
