How we
can help

Advice, information and support

Are you worried about other people’s reactions to your appearance? Do you think you’re never going to find a partner or get that dream job? Are you struggling to accept the change to your appearance after surgery or an accident? Perhaps you’ve been offered more treatment options and you’re not sure what to do?

Whether you were born with a rare condition that affects your appearance, or you acquired a disfigurement more recently, Changing Faces can help you.

You may also have questions about your medical condition and be wondering how you can access more medical information?  We can advise you how to find out more and signpost you to other services.

If you are looking for support and would like to talk to someone you can contact us on 020 7391 9282 or email support@changingfaces.org.uk. We accept calls between 10am – 4pm, Monday to Friday and messages can be left if we’re not available.

Group events and workshops

If you are interested in meeting other people with personal experience, you may like to attend one of our group events or workshops where you can share your experiences and learn how to manage common challenges. All of our events are facilitated by at least two Changing Faces Practitioners who draw upon professional knowledge and experience of working with people who have disfigurements.

Find a support group

We have details and contact with numerous condition-specific support groups all over the UK in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

If you want to know more about your particular condition, or wish to meet others with a similar condition we can tell you if there is a group or network that enables you to do this.
