As a volunteer, you can help us by:

• Organising a local fundraising event in your area or helping out other supporters with their fundraising events.
• Representing Changing Faces at fundraising events. This can involve anything from collecting a cheque to making a short speech on the charity's work.
• Distributing our leaflets and posters around your local area e.g. GP surgeries, dentists, community centres, leisure centres and schools.
• If you have personal or family experience of disfigurement, you could speak to the media about your experiences in order to promote an informed view of people who have disfigurements.

We do from time to time arrange work experience opportunities for Secondary School or Higher Education students. If you are interested in working for a charity, or have an interest in working in healthcare, especially dermatology, maxillofacial, ENT or plastic surgery, feel free to get in touch using the details below. Please note: we are not able to offer counselling training placements or direct contact with clients, owing to confidentiality and ethical considerations.
