In 2009, 65% of our income came from trusts and foundations. In comparison, 5% of our income came from statutory grants, 10% from private donations, 7% from corporate donations, 2% from community groups and 5% from fundraising events (you can find out more about our income and expenditure by downloading our latest annual review).
So, donations from trusts and foundations are extremely important to us.
To give you an idea of our current funding priorities, our target for unrestricted funding in 2009/10 was £488,000, of which we had raised £370,000 by the end of 2009.
Our target for restricted funding in 2009/10 was £377,000, of which we had raised £243,000 by the end of 2009.
